I know BOR has no love for the internet

Despite the fact that he pushes his website polls each night, touts his paid subscribers' views on the most popular segments of his shows, and hawks his souvenirs from his webstore?

I've heard him mention a number of times how dangerous it is. He thinks people are exposed to disinformation (ironic, isn't it?), and that they are too naive and easily swayed to figure it all out.

actually that does answer your question.

True internet forums like FR, are an anathema to television personalities like BOR. You don’t have to pay to be on FR (but donations are gratefully accepted), however OReily is just using the net as another revenue source. BOR wants information dissemination to be a toll road. (pay for newspaper, pay for cable news, pay to hear HIS spin on the news) But all one way communication from on high.

He is old media making the same mistal all old media makes. One way communication from a news sources is dead.
