"Just Before the Battle Mother" was written by George F. Root in 1864 during the War Between the States. This song is very appropriate for the times we are going through now..... I would like to dedicate this song to the Mothers, and of course the Fathers too, of all our brave service men and women who are putting their lives in danger to help bring world peace .
