1. Mossad did it!

2. It was Diebold who did it again (paleoPaulie starring as Algore this time both as to foreign surrendermonkeyism and as to whining about "stolen elections").

3. It was the New England clam cartel that did it! They were angry that paleoPaulie did not get them earmarks too in their competition with the shrimpin' bidness!

4. It was the Pentagon that did it! They could not afford to let the public know that the Republican voters are really George McGovern n disguise.

5. It was the war profiteers who did it! When paleoPaule is sworn in, he'll fix their wagon! So there!

6. The buses hired by the Committee on American Islamic Relations broke down and the Islamoterorist Iowa Republicans were unable to arrive in time to vote. Their votes should be counted anyway. PaleoPaulie can provide the numbers.

7. Rumor has it that the Iowa State Police arrested known paleoPaulie straw poll voters (about a million of them!!!) to keep them from voting to end the war last year!!!! The arrestees were identified as paleoPaulie backers by the crazed look in their eyes that so resembles the bodysnatched!

8. It was the Bilderburgers who did it. They always do it!

9. It was the Cheeseburgers who did it! They are plotting to fatten us up for coronary disease yet to come!

10. It was the BACON Cheeseburgers that did it! This happened in Iowa after all!

11. It was the ILLEGAL!!!! ALIENS who did it. As we all know, they cause halitosis, tummy aches, migraines, air pollution and creeping Hispanic cuisine. There was a lot of Spanish overheard at the straw poll. NOW, we know why!!!!

12. Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears were running a "hospitality suite" right next door to the voting booths. Each of them is known to be acquainted with actual Mormons and that explains what they were doing and whom they were supporting. Makes sense, huh!!!

13. It was black cats that did it. This is point 13 after all.

14. It was the Council on Foreign Relations that did it. They heard how many Birchers were supporting the delusions of paleoPaulie!

15. It was the John Birch Society that did it. They discovered a secret plot of the Council on Foreign Relations to sneak paleoPaulie through as CFR's "stealth candidate!!!" Who woulda thunk it???

16. It was the Libertoonian Party that did it. They don't like to be scorned by their previous candidates.

17. It was B'nai Brith that did it in concert with the Anti-Defamation League and AIPAC. They are all big Mormon enthusiasts.

18. It was Pat Buchanan who did it! He wants his old constituency back!

19. It was Elvis who did it! He has not left the building after all!!!!

20. It was Lyndon LaRouche who did it. He wanted his old constituency back!!!

Feel free to add to the list.

“In 1995, when the “unbelievable” tie occurred between CFR favorites Senator Bob Dole and Senator Phil Graham – the doors were locked for two solid hours after the voting ended.”

This HAS to be BS. CFR is JUST a think-tank. (sarc)

I would love to vote for a libertarian, but RP is out in the twilight zone. His followers are about as close to a cult as you can get. RP is a good man, but his followers remind me of the Nazi cult that grew up around Adolf Hitler. Please understand that I’m not saying that RP is a Nazi or that his devotees hold to those views. My point of comparison is not their views, but their fanaticism. The idea that RP didn’t get second place must be because there is something foul at hand. It never occurred to his followers that people didn’t vote for him.

These KGB/GESTAPO TYPES, groveling before the sinister banking powers in NYC and behind the RNC and the DNC, -- and acting as their enforcers in Iowa -- hid all the EVIDENCE (the ballots) at the Iowa Straw Poll and announced the alleged results based on their assertion alone – which the rest of us are supposed to take and believe on blind faith!

Sinister banking powers??? This thing just went south, so I'm not going to waste my time finishing it.

I was unaware that the Bildenberg Banking consortium had such influence over the Iowa Straw Poll. It’s a good thing Ron Paul is around to save us.

Ron Paul did not win. Ron Paul was damned lucky to get to fifth. Ron Paul will never be POTUS. He’s not even going to win a single state in the primaries.

Then the Paulistinians can whine for years after about how the nomination was stolen from their liege.

"While we are totally devoid of evidence..."
The voting process at the Iowa Straw Poll was a fraud, wrapped in lies... those people are frauds, are acting like Stalin-esque tyrants, and their organization is a fraud... These KGB/GESTAPO TYPES, groveling before the sinister banking powers in NYC and behind the RNC and the DNC, -- and acting as their enforcers in Iowa -- hid all the EVIDENCE ... WE DON’T BELIEVE YOU! You hid the evidence! You have hidden the ballots – and now you have had time to switch the ballots! You fronted for crooks, thieves, enemies of America, enemies of honest people everywhere! ...In 1995, when the “unbelievable” tie occurred between CFR favorites Senator Bob Dole and Senator Phil Graham – the doors were locked for two solid hours after the voting ended... The published "results": that year were that Buchanan... Our strong suspicion was that Buchanan came in first in 1995, but this result was unpalatable to the Neo-Cons running the GOP in NYC and D.C... While we are totally devoid of evidence... The World Tyranny Ruling Elite needed Paul to appear to finish near the bottom so that they could ignore him completely on the mass media. Therefore, the suspicion is that Ron Paul’s vote was partially stolen and distributed to Huckabee, Brownback, and Romney. (Tancredo would not be helped by the Iowa GOP, despite his neo-con outlook on foreign affairs, because his anti-illegal immigration stance is completely unpalatable to the Ruling Elite in NYC and D.C. who dictate to the Iowa GOP, and all other state GOPs.
This nutty rant reminds me of the conspiracy nuttery gorged on and regurgitated in the Moslem world.

Can any Paul supporter think this guy is anything other than a major league kook after reading things like this:

LOL The writer of this nonsense should get a clue. The straw poll isn't an 'election'.

Ah, well, I guess it's hard for him to think with his panties so twisted.

I don’t believe that Ron Paul garnered more votes than they attributed to him. After all, even with paid tickets you can’t be promised that person is going to vote your way!!! I mean, if someone wanted to give a person a free ticket to a convention they might SAY they would vote the way the person giving them the ticket wanted them to on purpose, and then again, they might have changed their mind during the course of the convention itself! There is nothing better than hearing and seeing a candidate in person to help one make up his/her mind if they were leaning another way, or not sure in the first place! And, anyway, wouldn’t giving a ticket to someone promising to vote in a straw poll kind of be tantamount to BUYING votes???

What’s funny is that Mr. Paul is so fixed in the idea that it was rigged, it is really laughable. You don’t hear the other candidates complaining, and I’m sure they’re not that happy they didn’t get more votes!!!

I’m curious why Fred Thompson polled so low, frankly... If anyone should be complaining it should be Thompson, but then he hasn’t officially declared yet... I was wondering, was Thompson a “Write-In” in this polling? Just curious — not charging anyone with voter fraud! LOL

Anyway, all of this put aside for a minute —

I personally HATE electronic voting!!! I wouldn’t care if it took 2 MONTHS to count all the ballots. It would be well worth the time, money, and aggravation to end all the speculation about the electronic voting, and claims of fraud. Not to mention ending all the speculation and ripping our country apart at the seams — like the last election led to (yes, thanks to the Liberals, but still...).

Seriously, can you imagine what would happen if Hillary got a hold of the codes for these machines? AND, a group of people I know personally tested these machines in Boulder, CO a few years ago, and even a speck of DUST, or a smudge can alter a voting ballot, or kick it out as uncounted!

There is also the problem that voters really have no way of being reassured that our vote was recorded properly, or counted properly. As Mr. Paul does correctly mention we do have a right to both of these things!

Anyway... I’m sorry Mr. Paul isn’t more popular, but frankly it’s his own fault as he is NOT the most well-spoken when it comes to putting across his ideas (with the exception of his written works — and we all know due to the illiteracy rates that the general population will never read those!!! LOL). He does have a cult-like following, and Libertarians love him, but more is needed to win a Presidency... AND, last, but definitely not least, we must not forget to mention his stance on the War, and all the whining his supporters have done that sounds eerily familiar as the same rhetoric from the anti-war liberal crowd!!! Mr. Paul (and every other politician) doesn’t bother to consider the mounting evidence that Saddam Hussein DID have many ties to Al Qaeda before the war. AND that we HAVE found WMDs in Iraq, and there is proof more is “lost” (lost by the Iraqi government before the war, incidently), and is buried somewhere in the desert (just waiting to cause pollution)!

OK, that’s enough ranting on this! LOL

I STILL want the electronic voting to end, but it’s not because of Ron Paul! (o:

I sit here and look over this thread again tonight and I can only draw one conclusion...

I have been right all along, Ron and his adherents are post for post and action for action the greatest entertainment value currently available in out great nation...

Damn, just damn, even I get speechless reading some the pro Paul drivel. There is more spin here than is seen at an all Israeli Chanukah Dradle contest...

Sad thing is, many believe it...

BTW if I have missed pinging any of my fellow "straights" from this thread, my apologies...
