"I believe we should reduce abortion and increase adoption," Giuliani said, in an attempt to soften his strident pro-abortion stance.

Yeah Rooty Toot, "safe and legal and rare," we've heard it all before.

Rudy Toot is a pro-government authoritarian control freak in every other department. So this is sham reasoning.

Yes, Rudy, Clinton, and Hillary - all joined at the hip, not to mention attuned to one another’s thoughts. Unfortunately for Rudy and Hillary, they are without the snake charmer’s tongue!

Is Rudy shameless or what? He says THIS--after he militantly calls for USING OUR TAX DOLLARS FOR FEDERAL FUNDING FOR ABORTIONS!!!

Rudy is absolutely shameless.

Now that that fraud, Julie Annie, did not succeed in his story of a few weeks ago — claiming that he was not pro-choice — this is his new story.

What a phony.

I’ll vote for any Republican in the general, but I REALLY do not want someone who is not pro-life.

Waggle, I really don't think a New York Republican has a chance of winning the GOP presidential nod; what sells in New York does not sell in the GOP heartland.

But even if Murphy's Law works overtime and by some insane fate Rudi is the Republican candidate, I'll still be stuck voting for him instead of Hillary or Osama, or voting for those two in effect by tossing my vote to a third party candidate.

He doesn’t care anymore because he believes that even those opposed to abortion will still flock to him in the end. To him we’re just a bunch of radicals who in the end will have to negotiate this principle.

News Flash Rudy, ain’t going to happen on my end.

Umm I think the govt has a vested interest in preventing murder. But hey I haven’t cross dressed, married my cousin, dodged the draft, cheated on my 2nd wife and advocated attacking the 2nd Amendment so what do I know.

Uh Rudy, the government was out of it until rogue SCOTUS justices created a right out of their asses.

"More than a decade ago, a Supreme Court decision literally wiped off the books of fifty states statutes protecting the rights of unborn children. Abortion on demand now takes the lives of up to one and a half million unborn children a year. Human life legislation ending this tragedy will someday pass the Congress, and you and I must never rest until it does. Unless and until it can be proven that the unborn child is not a living entity, then its right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness must be protected.

You may remember that when abortion on demand began, many, and indeed, I'm sure many of you, warned that the practice would lead to a decline in respect for human life, that the philosophical premises used to justify abortion on demand would ultimately be used to justify other attacks on the sacredness of human life -- infanticide or mercy killing. Tragically enough, those warnings proved all too true.

~~~ President Ronald Reagan, March.8, 1983, Orlando Florida
I’m pro-choice. I’m pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. “No, I have not supported that, and I don’t see my position on that changing,” he responded. Source: CNN.com, “Inside Politics” Dec 2, 1999 http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Rudy_Giuliani_Abortion.htm
ANDERSON COOPER 360 DEGREES (November 14, 2006)
RUDY GIULIANI (R), FORMER MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY: I'm pro- choice. I'm pro-gay rights.
KING: Giuliani supports a woman's right to an abortion, and back in 1999, he opposed a federal ban on late-term abortions.
GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.
KING: Immigration could be another presidential landmine. Back in 1996, Mayor Giuliani went to federal court to challenge new federal laws requiring the city to inform the federal government about illegal immigrants.
JEFFREY: He took the side of illegal immigrants in New York City against the Republican Congress.
KING: Giuliani opposes same-sex marriage but as mayor, he supported civil unions and extending health and other benefits to gay couples. He also supported the assault weapons ban and other gun control measures opposed by the National Rifle Association.
GIULIANI: I'm in favor of gun control. I'm pro-choice.
Republican Big-Wigs Support Pro-Abortion Event in NY
Pro-abortion Governor George Pataki and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who also supports unrestricted abortion, are co-chairs of the 2000 Choice Award Presentation to be held on May 30 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. The event is sponsored by the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition, a group that is campaigning for the removal of the pro-life plank from the Republican National Platform.
"But in a society in which we don‘t want government running people‘s lives," he said. "We should keep the government out of it. We should allow the mother ultimately to make those kinds of decisions."
If he's so hot to keep government out of running people's lives, why did he run the lives of the thousands of law abiding NYC residents to whom his administration deliberately denied their fundamental right to self defense by refusing to process applications for gun permits without a justifiable cause or by needlessly dragging out the process until the applicant withdrew or abandoned their applications?
If what I have been told by a former NYC resident is true, if any part of the application has to be resubmitted for any reason the unjustifiably expensive application fee must be paid again. All this is unwarranted obstructionism that has undoubtedly been designed to cause applicants to give up in disgust, and that is probably why so many illegally obtained guns are found and seized by NYC police.
Legally owned and used guns are involved in only a relatively very few accidental or intentional deaths of innocent people each year in the US. But OTOH, American hired killers, aka abortionists, use scalpels, scissors, probes, suction tubes, chemicals and other utensils that would be right at home in a medieval torture chamber to murder 1,500,000 innocent unborn human babies in that same time period. So which group poses a greater danger to the lives of innocent human beings in the US, law abiding gun owners or hired baby killers?
