"I believe we should reduce abortion and increase adoption," Giuliani said, in an attempt to soften his strident pro-abortion stance. Yeah Rooty Toot, "safe and legal and rare," we've heard it all before.

Can you please list those candidates who have said they want to make abortion illegal?

I'm anti-abortion -- look up all my posts for seven or eight years here and decide for yourself if you don't believe me. But if Fred Thompson doesn't pan out as a candidate, I'll gladly vote for Giuliani.
The President cannot make abortion illegal. It isn't within his power. I take Rudy on his word that he'll appoint strict constructionists to the Supreme Court and I believe that his economic and foreign policy ideas are solid.
Conservatives who proudly proclaim their refusal to vote for Rudy if he's the Republican nominee are throwing the unborn baby out with the bath water. I'm continually astounded at their holier-than-us willingness to put the country into the hands of the Democrats.

Rudy Giuliani Reiterates His Support for Keeping Abortion Legal Rudy Who?
Man, I'm bad with names. Is that a hard G, like in gallon, or is it a soft G like in jerk?

He's honest. That's a rare quality in a politician. I don't agree with his views on abortion but Rudy is entirely believable.

(We need a conservative candidate who will UNITE the Party, not a liberal one who will DIVIDE it!)
