I live near where this “Rodolfo Godinez — a 24-year-old Nicaraguan immigrant” was caught. Any guesses why he went there? More anonymity and “sanctuary”. Maryland is a sanctuary in general but the south counties are the worst. Plenty of gang issues there because of the policies.

Carranza, 28, is an illegal immigrant from Peru, but authorities said they never checked his immigration status after he was arrested in October following a bar fight and in January on aggravated sexual assault charges.
