He didn’t mention Tiger Woods and Buick.

Nader’s pantie wad seems to be that he doesn’t disclose the fact that he is a compensated advertiser. It seems that he is compensated.

I may be wrong but I thought there is/was a requirement that if you endorsed a product on air you had to have personal experience with the product.

I don't think it is a requirement per se, but Rush won't advertise something unless he has tried it out for himself...a matter of business ethics. He has said as much on his show several times. Even in the ad about GM he mentions how everyone in his immediate staff is trying the HHR. (see the ad works)

Nevermind the fact that GM is also advertising with Ed Schultz, Bill Press, and even Jim Rome as well, Nader wants to only focus on Limbaugh. Also frightening was this line in Nader's release: Secretary of Commerce, Herbert Hoover, later to become President in the nineteen twenties, called radio "a public trust." He believed the public airwaves, being owned by the people, should convey no advertisements whatsoever.

Then ALL radio would be NPR.

Yikes!

It may be unpopular to say here, but Nader’s reforms probably have saved a lot of lives—including his push for automotive safety when no else gave a rat’s ass.

Ralphie's "concern" was more in line with making his stock portfolio rise in value. He was invested in Ford while he was attacking GM. As for real improvements in automotive safety, the man you should be looking at is Col. J.P.Stapp (the rocket sled guy.)
