Yep. And the vulnerable population really need our help. Admittedly, they are sitting ducks (their property,their finances, their well being). I want anti-euthanasia to be part of the GOP Platform but there are too many RINOS at the top at the moment. Abortion and euthanasia deserve separate statements in a party platform.

My defense of the Courts is simple. The ruling was that the government had no standing in deciding what was to happen. The decision rested squarely with the Husband in this case. I this this is the correct decision moving into the future, because the end of life decisions, are not to be made by the government but by individual families.
If people have an issue with what the husband decided their beef is with the husband, not the court.
I am very much repulsed by abortion. I feel it is evil. The motive has no consideration of what is best for the baby, but merely the mothers lifestyle. I realize that the argument I am making here is very close to what those who were against the decision the husband are making but I see one critical diffrence, I believe this was in her best interest because I believe the experts who said that her brain had stopped thinking and was withering away. I do not believe it was murder but mercy. It is just a judgment call, hopefully few of us will have to make.

Michael Schiavo is the one who went to court to kill his wife. The court is the third branch of government. Right? Also, when you mean "individual families", you don't mean to include Terri's parents, correct?

You can access many materials on Terri...you can find out what this creep did to her, her family ( as he said on Larry King, he enjoyed messing with her parents because they interfered with his life ) He only let them visit Terri when ONE OF HIS FRIENDS and ESPECIALLY HIS GIRLFRIEND - the one he is now married to - WERE STANDING BY TERRI's bed to observe because he wanted CERTAIN things NOT TO HAPPEN in Terri's room...ie...he DIDNOT WANT TERRI TO SEE OUTSIDE, TO VIEW THE SUNSHINE or to be WHEELED OUT TO BREATH THE FRESH AIR.
He was afraid they might break his rules...but laughed that he could refuse them visitation to his dtr.
He even got an immediate cremmation because of a fear of x-rays denoting broken bones that were noticed but not tended to because MS was the sole determiner of Terri's health care.
He DID take a group of his buddies in to gawk at Terri in her death cycle....a few days before she passed....guess they were interested.
No police had to be in the room when MS was there. Only when Terri's folks were there, or her bro or sister.
Judge Greer DISALLOWED depositions that spoke to mistreatment BY Michael, depos given by a variety of people, nurses, nurses' aides, friends of Terri (who noted her fear of MS) and Judge Greer also ignored the OVER RIDING QUESTION OF GEORGE FELOS STICKING TERRI INTO A HOSPICE...whose OWN regulations do not allow it to ADMIT people who have more than SIX MONTHS TO LIVE.

MS did NOT ALLOW Terri to join in the social events in the lobby.
He DID NOT ALLOW the nurses to administer sweet juice to her lips. (After all, she swallowed her own salive without problems and and if she were shown to swallow other liquids, well, then the feeding tube might be removed AND HOW WOULD HE AND FELOS AND GREER GET TO KILL HER THEN?

I Saw the water FOUNTAINS ALL OVER THE PLACE...took pics of them. Did you know that Terri RESPONDED to music with glee, can you imagine how those fountains sounded as she was going thru the excruciating torture of denial of liquid?

I entered thru an open door in the chapel and toured the facility while Terri was there.
Then walked outside to see IF HER BLINDS WERE DRAWN!
OF COURSE THEY WERE!
I DISPISE all of them....all of them.
And there is NO better JUDGE and GIVER of JUSTICE than our Father in HEAVEN and I know to my very bones that this will never be over for those who laid out the plan to murder this woman.
Even our PRESIDENT knew this was a travesty of justice and left his vac home in Texas, flying to DC, in a attempt to get the higher courts to INVESTIGATE the horrors a the injustice Terri received.
I will always love our President for this. He KNEW our entire nation would suffer along with Terri and her family....and we did.
All this aside, Mark and Just Me, it took WAY more than Michael Schiavo the MONSTER to kill Terri, it too an organized virtual hoard of evil actions done by very vile people. I would be willing to BET than NONE of them are happy.

How is Mr. Schindler doing these days. I miss hearing about both of them, and Terri's siblings, as well. I do not have words to express my admiration for them.
