That’s a different point from the one you made earlier. This one makes sense, the former one didn’t. In this case they may well have as they were muslims who traditionally don’t value their daughters enough to risk their lives for them.
Last year 50 people were murdered with guns in the UK compared to 11000 in the US. The only thing one can safely conclude form those figures is that we are very different countries who have and need differing solutions.

Interesting comparison, do you also have the total number of murders?, or maybe the murder rate? Interesting that you limit your comparison to “murdered with guns” and ignore the rest of the picture.
