If the tide against illegal immigrants, and yes I said they are ILLEGAL, therefore LAW BREAKERS, is growing then finally the people of America are waking up. Let’s hope THIS surge continues.

If somebody had actually sent death threats to a United States Senator, we would be hearing about arrests, not listening to McCain whining about it.
It is not “xenophobia” to have a fear of someone here illegally, someone who has no accountability to our own federal, state, and local governments and to whom we are not protected against by said authorities.

The hard left SPLC routinely tars immigration control groups with the "racist" label. They don't restrict that accusation to groups like the KKK or White Aryan Resistance.
The SPLC was a favorite source for border quislings who tried to squelch discussions of immigration by resorting to race baiting- the usual suspects would claim that their targets were allied to Stormfront or were being funded by eugenicists and neoNazis. And they still try this tactic, just not as often here.
This ninny, mccain, still doesn't understand that it was the abject lack of inforcement of the previous two amnesty debacles that have "inflamed the American people." Had executive, legislative and judicial done their jobs nobody would be "inflamed."

Has McCain been residing under some rock for the past few years? I assume Bush, his administration, and congress are also flabbergasted to realize that conservative Americans do have very strong opinions.
When pushed too far, they will protest with vehemence.
While the big shots are looking for low-wage employees, or more votes through illegal aliens (made "legal"), the rest of us don't like subsidizing, or outright paying for, the benefits the governments so generously bestow on these lawbreakers at our expense.
