Jacksonville Jaguars Gives Planned Parenthood $30K Grant
Jacksonville, FL (LifeNews.com) -- With the start of football season just weeks away, millions of Americans are purchasing tickets and T-shirts to support their favorite teams. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars have given their fans one less reason to support the team, because its foundation has given a grant to the nation's largest abortion business.
When the Jaguars were named as the National Football League's 30th franchise in 1993, the Weaver family which owns the team wanted to make sure they gave back to the northeast Florida community.
They started the Jaguars Foundation a year later and awards went out before the team ever played its first game.
On Tuesday, the foundation awarded the first grants, which included a $30,000 donation to Planned Parenthood of Northeast Florida.

Sickening. I hope the Jags go 1-15 this year.
That’s the end of MY being a fan of Jags, even though they were only my AFC favs.........
Does PETA protest animal team names? Isn’t it insulting to Jaguars to name a football team after them?
Who’s your NFC fav, the Bucs? Most people around here are fans of theirs.
Another reason to hope my Colts kick their a$$ twice this year.
Cowboys!............from way back..........
Hmmmm.
Disgusting. I think the Jaguars should chip in and donate $30M to a pro-life organization.
That’s one of the reasons I like the Colts. The coach and owners are good men and I hear that Peyton is pretty conservative.
I hope they do, too..............
Well, then, here’s another reason to beat them this Thursday. Not saying we really need a reason beyond the desire.
The Jags are probably doing it so they don’t have to pay paternity fees for all of their players’ illegitimates.
Silly Jaguars. Don’t they realize they’re just destroying their future players?
I’m not a Colts fan, but it was nice to see them win it all.
That smells like a Dolores Barr-Weaver move.
Wife of majority owner Wayne Weaver, she is chair of the trust to give away his money.
Bless them, they do give alot, but we hear about it every time she so much as tips someone.
Booooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
Could someone in the know maybe send the Jaguar players or as many as possible, the truth about the founder of Planned parenthood, Margret Sanger?
Not exactly the thing you want to do in the Bible Belt
Idiots
