I realize from other threads that you are opposed to such reforms.

I'm opposed to the Fairtax, not reform. And one of the reasons is because of giving bureaucrats at SS the power to tax without a debate or a vote or oversight.

I do like tax simplification, I get several more volumes on my shelf with each simplification or reform. Each is more complex than the reform from before.

There is NO SS trust fund. All monies collected go into the General Fund. SS would be funded by the Fair Tax.
