Last spring, 20-year-old pre-med student Elizabeth Harris had only Costa Rica on her mind. She was hoping to wine and dine there while taking a few biology courses.

From the sounds of the article, it seems that there is one other thing that was always on her mind. Besides, exactly how many courses was she going to take on spring break?

Having gone off birth control, Harris found she was pregnant. She said she quit when the cost of her prescription at the UIC clinic more than doubled.

Found herself pregnant? Like she caught it or something? Perhaps she should have paid a little more attention in her pre-med classes. There have been some recent advances in medical science and they now have a pretty good idea what causes pregnancy.

Please reassure me that there are no medical schools so deperate for students that they would accept this moron.
