Going to war with Iran because of Fox News?
Flopping Aces ^ | 8-23-07 | Todd Anthony

In another sign that the Left is completely irrational and foolish, CNSNews.com is reporting that LIBERAL filmmaker and political activist Robert Greenwald has accused Fox News of war mongering and wanting “war with Iran.”

In the “it-doesn’t-get-much-more-ridiculous department,” Greenwald has urged the other major news networks, “not to follow Fox down the road to war again.”

Evidently, Fox News dictates war policy in the White House, from what Greenwald would have us believe. Seriously, first it’s President Bush’s misleadingly erroneous evidence that Saddam Hussein possessed WMD that led into the Iraq War. Couple that with Fox News somehow leading us into war, and I can’t believe what I’m reading.

“On Wednesday, Greenwald and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) were spreading the word, through a conference call, about a new viral ad campaign to expose what Fox News supposedly is doing. (Viral ad campaigns depend on people passing along a marketing message -- in this case, Greenwald's anti-Fox video -- voluntarily.)”

“According to Greenwald, Fox News engaged in "daily fear-mongering" in the days leading up to the war with Iraq, serving as a media cheerleader for the U.S.-led war.”

Sorry, Robert, but Fox News is a much-needed media outlet that is absolutely warranted in combating the Leftist, seditious, anti-American rhetoric spun out of the Mainstream Media. For the all talk that the President has circumvented Congress, it is actually the Left that would restrict 1st Amendment rights for those not regurgitating Leftist talking points.

"The 24/7 images, sound effects, yelling and threatening were an ever-present drumbeat for war," Greenwald said on his Web site. "We had to invade, and we had to invade now...anyone who didn't see that was a traitor. They (Fox News) viciously attacked those of us who worked to get out the truth," Greenwald said.”

Evidently, we should all should immediately protested the decision to “unilaterally” and “imperialistically” invade the “sovereign” Iraq.

“This is a critical moment, and we must send a message to the major television networks urging them to ask tough questions, be skeptical, and tell us what is really happening.”

Truly, this sort of rhetoric is almost laughable. People like Greenwald are so blinded by their anti-Right, anti-Christian, anti-Bush beliefs, that they truly do not see what’s going on around them.

Well if we go to war with Iran because of Fox News then Fox News should contribute something to the war effort. I’m thinking Fox News should lend the Army Alan Colmes for landmine detection duty !!!

No, not Alan Colmes...Bob Beckel. Or that short, skinny, bearded extreme-leftist nitwit that appears on panel shows on weekends (I can’t remember his name)....

The problem I have with Fox news is that they are obsessed with tabloid stuff like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, etc. Bill O’Reilly reports on some rediculous “girls-gone wild” things all the time. The Iran coverage is great, its a view the rest of the media doesn’t cover.

A liberal blog was mad at Hannity for criticizing CAIR yesterday, it was unbelievable. It just goes to show how the left thinks, they will defend anyone if it makes fox look bad.

Well you can tell from this statement that this guy is as deranged as the left. Erroneous statement? BS.

They have an early afternoon show now, that I was unfortunate enough to experience yesterday afternoon, that I can only describe as “a bunch of cackling hens”.

I really wish that Rupert would hire serious and literate talent.

Neither can I, but I know who you mean. That's a face I could only stand to see on a milk carton. It's his misfortune that there is no Nobel Prize for Phony Piety.
