This whole thread reminds me of a woman I used to date...

She loved to go riding on the back of my bike. She was also insanely jealous of every other woman on the planet. Always had some disparaging remark about other women, or at the very least a colorful euphamism for a title to slap upon them behind their backs. It finally got too annoying and I had to leave,....ANYWAY...

All of the other women that either rode on the back of a bike, as she did, or those who rode their own bike, she called BIKER BROADS...every single one of them. Finally I asked her what was the difference between her and all the other women she referred to as BIKER BROADS...

...*crickets*...she had no answer.

She never could see beyond her own hypocrisy....like many of the most vocal alleged conservatives here on this thread.

humorous reading actually.

What’s “conservative” about thinking that one has a “right” to make an ear-splitting racket that disturbs other people just trying to sleep or enjoy the use of their own property? With rights come reponsibilities, a concept seemingly lost on a lot of people. What we have on the roads now, as far as noise goes, is essentially anarchy. Since writing a consistent, measurable noise law is difficult, we will probably see the default being to require stock exhausts, which have already been measured and approved by the DOT. It’s unfortunate, but many people have irresponsibly used their “freedom” to make themselves a nuisance to everyone else.
