I think the answer is we Americans need to pray more often in public...

YES! Everywhere. All the time. Every event. Every gathering. Every class. Every lunch period. Every business meeting. Every game. Every school board meeting.

...they can handle it, they just can't ingest it.

Not according to Jimmy Carter.

An employer is not required to accommodate an employee’s religious beliefs and practices if doing so would impose an undue hardship on the employers’ legitimate business interests. An employer can show undue hardship if accommodating an employee’s religious practices requires more than ordinary administrative costs, diminishes efficiency in other jobs, infringes on other employees’ job rights or benefits, impairs workplace safety, causes co-workers to carry the accommodated employee’s share of potentially hazardous or burdensome work, or if the proposed accommodation conflicts with another law or regulation.

Indeed they have...I live in Omaha and I think that now would be a good time for me to state that if this happens I will never buy Swift products again. I’ll vote with my wallet.

Headline? “Muslims demand footbaths in supermarket checkout lanes. ‘During prayers all store activity must stop,’ say local Muslims.”

“Tell them to pray at home and then go to work like everyone else has to do.”

It is not really a question for allowing them time for prayers, it is an attempt to be provocative and they are more and more successful at getting their demands. It is amazing how gutless we have become as a nation.

If I were an Al-Qaeda leader I would not bother attacking the US. All I have to do is to be patient and let the American muslims do the dirty work for me. They seem to be invincible.

Muslims anywhere near our food supply or the chain of distribution and the possibility of saboutage is cause for concern.

they would not accept a solution that did not accommodate the prayers for the whole year

Ha, they want paid time off for all their 'holidays' and such.

I say, cut 'em loose.

I wonder if they are part of the cult that believes that their next prophet will be born by a man.

So the have to check all lumps in their feces to see if it is the next prophet!

This continued accommodation and appeasement is going to open a MAJOR can of worms in the very near future.

What happens when other non-muslim employees of this company start demanding that this company and others start accommodating their religious beliefs?

You are going to have hell on your hands the minute you come to your senses and try to undo the damage you've done by accommodating and appeasing these reprobates.

You won't be able in the future to take away the special benefits and treatment you granted them without anarchy. I don't think anyone needs to be reminded of what happens when Muslims get mad.

A union plant, rugriders are going to be able to pray during breaks. OK, I got that part. Union contracts generally have clauses where the employee is paid for breaks, right? So, these rugriders are being paid to pray to Allah. That’s swift, isn’t it?

We need to start a cult..opps I mean religion (yeah right!) where we pray five times a day and have to have pigs, dogs, alcohol and loud music (drown out that chanting!) at the same time!
