Korean Air will take delivery Monday of its 18th Boeing 777, which also happens to be the 3,000th widebody jet that Boeing has built at its Everett plant. The plant opened in the late 1960s for production of the 747, and later added the 767, 777 and now the 787.

Boeing plans a factory celebration Monday to mark the occasion.

Korean Air has been buying Boeing jets since 1971. The airline was the first to fly 747 cargo planes across the Pacific. Its fleet includes 18 777s, 45 Boeing 747-400s, and 32 Boeing 737s. The airline has on order 10 777s, five 737s, 10 787 Dreamliners, five 747-8 freighters and five 777 freighters.

Another 'Triple Zero' for Boeing.

They recently announced the 7,000th order for a 737. (bottom of the page)

Have had the privilege to be a passenger on the 777 on several occasions (to and from the UK). Great airplane.

A little 777 porn, shot at Manchester (England) by Simon Lowe, who is good at it. You can download videos in higher quality than the website displays.

I’ve flown the 777 twice...JFK to Narita and back.Very nice aircraft.Just a couple of months ago I flew an A330 for the first time in ten years....across the Atlantic. It reminded me what a piece of junk it is.

Yes. Big, powerful and smooth with very clean styling. I love the 777.

I SAY! .... "good at it"?? ... it's the best !
And as I viewed the 777 video I'm thinking: each engine nacelle is larger than a 737 fuselage.

AVporn, indeed.

Love it.
