There is a lot of effort in that DNC statement to waste on a guy that has not announced and who’s non-campaign has stalled. Me thinks thou doth protest to much.

I think Fred’s going to come out after Labor Day and blow away the entire field of Democrats and Republicans.
The Democrats have a lot to worry about — wrong on Iraq, wrong on illegals, wrong on foreign affairs, wrong on Congress record...

"The race has begun and everyone else is in, yet Thompson can't get past the starting line Todays Rasmussen Poll: Fred Thompson-22%, Rudy Guiliani-24%, Margin of error-4%.
It seems like someone can't distinguish between the front and the back of the field.
