BAGHDAD Coalition forces detained a foreign fighter during an intelligence-driven operation in northern Arab Jabour Aug. 22.
Intelligence indicates the targeted individual is a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device cell leader targeting coalition forces operating in the Arab Jabour area. He was born in Egypt but came to Iraq in the early 1980s and later joined al-Qaeda fighters. He has Iraqi citizenship and believed to be a former high ranking official of the Baath party during Saddam Husseins reign.
There were three other individuals detained during the operation.
Squeeze him dry, then throw away the empty shell.
Oh, I’m sorry, but the liberal pukes told me there were no AQ in Iraq prior to our ‘invasion.’
You mean like Ansar al Islam?
I love it when the leftards say the different name means everything.
It would be, very much, like saying that the Japanese Imperial Navy had nothing to do with the Japanese Imperial Army, because Navy is spelled different than Army.
