If it's not "news", it is "activism".

Also, I didn't see a mention of Hillary's theft of furniture from the White House. This was prima facie deliberate theft, occurring a year before the Clintons left the White House, and after the Chief Usher at the White House advised that it was government property. The response was truly Clintonian (a lie), that the items were the Clintons to begin with (they were gifts and thus were de jure government property.)

In fact, I think that when ever Hillary talks of giving everyone free health care, the best response would be Yes, and let's give everyone FREE FURNITURE too!

Back in 2004, Ted Kennedy ended up on the no fly list. Public statement was it was a TSA screw up. I can’t help but wonder if it really was a screw up since he has KGB connections.

As I recall, all those called to testify were missing and unaccounted for. I especially remember John Huang being out of the country and unable to be located. Senator Thompson finally was forced to end the hearings.

Actually, Barbara Boxer convinced Steiner that he had lied to his diary. She went on and on about how her daughter made up events and wrote them in her diary. Apparently, some people bought this nonsense.

I think your recollection is quite correct. What I wondered about at the time — and frankly still wonder about — is why Sen. Thompson didn’t make a major issue of the clearcut cover-up instead of just quietly shutting down the procedure.
