At least the Dems show up in the black churches when it is election time. Republicans just stay in the suburbs and hope that those scary black folk get struck by the Holy Ghost and start voting with them. /s

Would you prefer that the Republicans also show up to pander in the black churches only to vanish the day after election day? I'm sure the GOP could do more to attract "conservative" members of the black community, of which there are many, however most access points seemed to be controlled by gatekeepers such as the NAACP and various "church leaders." Trying to speak thru those filters seems to only get a politician slapped down but good unless they come bearing "gifts."

I'm sure if there was a better way to get an unfiltered, conservative message to the black community at large support of the GOP would be closer to 20-30% rather than the historic 5%.
