The study released last month of 1,017 voters ages 18-29 was conducted May 29-June 19. Voters were reached by a random telephone survey, through the Internet and on cell phones. The poll did not disclose a margin of error.
Greenberg Quinlan Rosner is a polling firm generally affiliated with Democrats. Its founder, Stan Greenberg, was a pollster for Democratic President Bill Clinton.
Thanks MTV....
How did they get the Internet and cell phone contact information?
For, a generation which does not know its history, is destined to repeat it.
Where’s the barf alert? It’s amazing that many young San Franciscans support Republicans. Then again, when you have a political party that has population-controlled, aborted, and gayed itself out of relevance you have to find anything that’ll buck up the troops.
I’m 40, and I know many people, of many ages, who are disenchanted with the republican party because too many Republicans are too liberal.
Oh the ignorance. Don’t even know where to start. It’s the equivalent of saying young people were fired up in NC about electing John Edwards and Jesse Helms.
More wishfull thinking and rigged polling passed on as “news”.
It’s no wonder they are disenchanted. They are bombarded 24-7 on all sides by our wildly liberally biased media in all forms. People in this age range are still very impressionable in their opinions. When all you hear is that Republicans are evil, dishonest and unethical people it’s no wonder they have negative feelings toward them.
Wait until they hit the real world. Suddenly many of them will become Republicans.
I’m 21 years old and voting for Duncan Hunter. These people have their heads up their butts.
“If you are not a liberal at age 20, you have no heart. If you are not a conservative at age 40, you have no brain.” - Sir Winston CHurchill
Where is the immigration issue on this chart?
...said the ‘Sam FrankDickso Liar-suckle’....
Just wait 'til these young folks actually have to start paying them.
According to one view on the subject, younger voters have NEVER been enchanted with the Republican party. That is not to say younger voters never vote Republican, as from time to time, they are even LESS enchanted by the Democratican party.
Their one saving grace is that Democratican politicians can be even more shallow and venal than Republicans, and they go for cheap advantages every time.
Probably from youtube or Facebook.
My oldest is going to be able to vote this time around, and she is so excited about it. She is already reading up on as much as she can. As a matter of fact, the other day we were talking about Duncan Hunter, and I said something I thought I knew about him, and she jumped all over me about it and corrected me. I’m so proud of her :).
