I thought John Kerry negotiated the end of the Viet Nam war.

“Was Vietnam a war that “Washington” decided we were going to lose?”

I was listening to Medved ( I think) and heard that Washington did indeed want to lose the Vietnam war as they were afraid of what China would do. So they kept throwing men into the meat grinder for nothing.

The VC actually offered a peace after the Tet offensive failed but were refused by Washington.
