The left is still fighting for the honor of ghengis carey. Notice that they only care about the 'integrity' of those that trash the troops and the mission, such as murtha and kerry, both with very questionable awards. I believe that murtha's Purple Hearts were awarded years after and kerry's awards were accumulated in the space of 1-3 mos. and none necessitated a day off or a stitch. Audie Murphy would have something to say about it, I think. Then again, he'd probably just spit in the dirt and walk away.

My brother (Air Force) got in the way of some shrapnel. The injury was minor and amounted to cleaning the cut and a little iodine and bandages. I asked him why he did not put in for a purple heart. His answer was, "I would have been embarrassed to do that for a minor injury."
Why did John F Kerry not think the same way? The answer reveals all you need to know about the character of John F. Kerry!!!!!!
