Unfortunately we also have all these wanna-bes that weren’t even born then. But they are not nearly as innocent or naive as most of the “flower children” were. There is something much darker and more sinister about the younger ones, except for some of the hippy-dippy airheaded ones.

I think the former were simply “airheads” of the era wooed by the early phases of the Marxist Peace and Love initiative, but the latter are a continuum of an advanced drug culture whom have progressed to dependency on the Socialist ideology that spawned the “movement” in the first place.
Hard core Loonies instead of simple, wide eyed “Spaceniks” whose Ideals were subliminally fed to them by organized Marxists.
Note how some came around and denounced the “movement” as it was called and are today some of the most hard core Conservatives one can find?
