The same thing would likely happen in America. Women who really really wanted an abortion would go down to Mexico and get it done.

I say its ok, because there would overall be less abortions. Even some conservatives fall into the liberal trap of believing that once the state legislates something, then that will never happen again from that day forward.

No crime can ever be completely eliminated, be it murder, theft, fraud, or anything else. The best you can hope for is to use law enforcment to keep the crime rate low, even if it will never be zero. Abortion is no different.
