I agree that the AP’s motives for reporting this in this way are political and sleazy, but a young soldier is dead, not by enemy fire or even a vehicle crash, but for some other reason. It could have been a number of things, but if it was a failure of leadership and responsibility for the troops under that leadership, that needs correcting.
No arguement here - there was a leadership failure, and things will happen in due course. But not as a result of any Leftist muckraking.
