Speaking of Chirac — is there any likelihood of criminal corruption charges being filed against him, as earlier predicted once he left office?

To do so would force them to question their bull squat mantras of “All Cultures Are Equal”, “Multiculturalism is the spice of Society” and “Diversity is our Strength”...

If there's any charges filed against Chirac, then it would be plea bargained down to something along the lines of a "disorderly person." :-)

Like you, I've been holding on to the assertions that once Chiraq wasn't protected by being the President, he'd have to face corruption charges from his time as Mayor of Paris. It now looks like the French old boy network will protect him.
