THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR WONDERFUL COMMENTS AND POSTS. THE FRANCE PING LIST WILL CONTINUE TO COVER FRENCH POLITICS AND CULTURAL ISSUES.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ADDED REMOVED TO THE FRENCH PING LIST, PLEASE FREEPMAIL ME.

“In a speech last year in New York, Mr. Sarkozy noted that “I’ve always favored modest effectiveness over sterile grandiloquence. And I don’t want to see an arrogant France with a diminished presence.” With his remarks Monday, Mr. Sarkozy has given the best evidence to date that his presidency will attempt to enhance French influence not by opposing the U.S. but by working with it.”

Nicolas Sarkozy has accomplished a great deal in his first 100 days in office.

He has shown himself to be a very different kind of French President, light years ahead of his predecessor, Jacques Iraq.

We contratulate him and wish him well.

Cincinna, did you see Segolene Royal on TV last week at the French socialist party convention? It seemed to me like she was trying to make nice, or did I misinterpret?

“I don’t want an Arrogant France with it’s presence diminished...”

So a Arrogant France with an expanded presence is better for Sarko?

Lov the France Ping List Cincinna, it’s a highlight for me.
