1) Federalism is a good thing. States near the Mexican border get the bulk of the negative externalities from unopposed illegal migration.

2) This is misleading. Arizona is going after employers who violate laws by hiring non-citizens. This has nothing to do with a fence (another idea I favor) and is way more effective.
