ATLANTA -- Richard Jewell, the man once accused of being the Olympic Park bomber and then cleared of the attack, is dead.

The ones that don't report it are as guilty as the ones that do it. G. Gordon Liddy had it right when he said aim for the head to avoid the vest.

Eric Rudolph copped a plea that included an admission of guilt for that incident.
Hmmm...maybe he was wandering the woods, in an insulin-induced shock, when he happened upon a hungry mountain lion. Sadly, because of his largess, he was unable to run away quickly enough.
Therefore, diabetes, the mountain lion, and obesity all killed him!!

I like the way Jewell can't straight face. It's a testament to Jewell's sense of humor as well as McDonald's comedic skills.

Too bad Leroy, his esteemed attorney, is busy chasing down people who have implied that Howard K. Stern was involved in the deaths of Anna Nicole Smith and her son Daniel, just because Stern administered the drugs that killed them.
He’s starting with John O’Quinn cuz he thinks he can get his grubby hands on some of those nifty cars. Sheesh, with Patsy Ramsey gone and now Richard Jewell, Leroy’s going to have to have baby Dannielynn as his new poster child.
Sincere condolences to Jewell’s family - it was a sad episode in the annals of justice. Even sadder that a swine like Leroy Wood makes money from such.

AP has picked up the story. Noteworthy that they leave out the part where he successfully sued NBC News and other news media for destroying his reputation based on unnamed sources, having never once been arrested or charged. As usual, the media ignores their own crimes.
