You are correct! That is one reason the Scriptures, the Bible, doesn’t describe the ten northern tribes as “lost,” only scattered (e.g. James 1:1). The “lost” idea came much later. It was promoted also by those who believe the concept called “British Israelism.” I think early Mormonism was somewhat affected by British Israelism. So was Gene Scott.

No, actually Jesus promoted the lost sheep of the House of Israel. The House of Israel is the ten northern tribes scattered throughout all the nations.

Jesus said “I came only for the LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL.” not to be confused with the Jews of the House of Judah. Jews only come from the tribe of Judah. The House of Israel is a whole different nation and peoples from the Jews.

Abraham wasn’t a Jew, Isaac wasn’t a Jew, Jacob wasn’t a Jew, Moses wasn’t a Jew. Oh Yeah Jesus was a Jew.

Thanks for your post. I have never heard of British Israelism or of Gene Scott. I do believe that we will find the blood of Israel flowing through much of the world’s civilizations, diluted but there. If those people qualify as Children of Israel, then the prophecies indicate they will eventually claim their inheritance.

The Orthodox Jews and the newly formed Sanhedrin in Jerusalem are looking for the House of Israel to be regathered, because they are lost, and believe that it is the main purpose of the Messiah, this regathering.

This teaching has been very distorted and misused by various groups but when you read JUST SCRIPTURE without man’s interpretation the most clear and precise plan of our Creator comes forward and cannot be dismissed.

Starting in Gen. 12 where God tells Abram his seed will be MIXED throughout all the nations. Here’s the plan stated.

4x God tells Abraham his seed will be uncountable as the stars and sand. God did not lie to Abraham. Gal. 3:29 does not lie.

Traditional Christianity has a Roman perspective of the scriptures. The Scriptures were written by the Hebrews, for the Hebrews, and must be read through the Hebraic perspective. Traditional christianity has been Romanized.
