It does not matter now. Craig resigned as I and others on this site predicted he would, the GOP Governor will appoint another GOP Senator, and life will go on.

Craig can now persue over turning his plea and if sucessful, put his name in the hat in 08. (I don’t think that will happen)

Thank you for holding your senators accountable for their actions and expecting them to be good examples. Best wishes to your state in selecting a replacement.

The fingers running along the underside of the stall divider sounds like a pretty blatant signal to me (which Mr. Craig didn’t deny, he just said he didn’t remember!) Then again, I’m unfamiliar with what’s going on in the gentlemen’s restroom, but, unhappily, not as unfamiliar as I was last week.

Agreed.  Normal, healthy men do not act in this way.  And to say that he "didn't remember" about something like this.....sounds so much like Mrs. Bill Clinton's convenient loss of memory on so many occasions when faced with questions pertaining to her and her "husband's" criminal activities.  It's something that a lawyer says when caught off guard because he / she knows that it's a statement that won't incriminate him / her in a court of law.

The court of public opinion, however, is able to see such statements for what they are.

And although I understand your meaning and am sorry that Ladies all over the world have been subjected to these ugly and sordid details, I would only wish to politely suggest that when such evil, disgusting behaviors are occurring in a toilet, it ceases, by definition, to be a "gentleman's" restroom any longer.  :-)

Can you explain the “wide stance”? That was obviously something invented after the fact. How wide is your stance with your drawers around your ankles?

82 mph in a 65 with expired tags and inspection. ...
The [cop] gave him a warning ticket and let him go.

If that's true, the cop should have been fired.
Speeding, first time caught, okay.  But add in expired
plates and inspection sticker?  That needs more than
a warning.
