“It must really piss him off that Poland is waving American flags at him. The Poles have been a solid friend and I hope we protect them in return.”

Agreed, how bout’ that ooops ordinance drop over Geogia (lol). Glad to know others are keeping some eye on what’s going on over there. Good to meet ya!

School leaders at Holy Family say their school is all about inclusiveness. It is in the school's motto and in the spirit of their teachings.

"Holy Family is precisely what its name is: a family. And they've always prided themselves on the diversity," said DeMelo.

How welcoming would the Catholic Church be if the bulk of illegals were Jewish? Interest in inclusiveness and diversity would be out the window.

Russian politics have always interested me. They have some odd twists and strange ways of looking at things. My favorite picture from the war in Iraq was the one with the Polish special forces posing with a Seal team. Wish I had that one available to post. Good to meet you too. I haven’t heard about the drop. Hopefully they weren’t armed..heh.

By the time you all get done debating whether or not you’ve insulted someone with your comments, your country will be gone, taken by those just a little less inclined to get get shook up about hurting someone’s feelings. By that time, you’ll be guarding yourself against the business end of a baseball bat, or worse. So, WTF, over?

That’s wonderful. I don’t remember my French classes due to my teacher telling us for a solid year about her trip to Europe. Btw, she was from Little Rock, AK LOL

In other words, I didn’t learn any French.

*** It went a little like this. Russia flies over Georgia and accidently drops an unexploded ordinance in some farmers frield in Russia. It then becomes a finger-pointing “who done it” game (lol) Serious stuff, but I was starting to refer to it as the mythical misguided missle.

“Georgia Identifies Russian Missile
// And destroys it on the spot

The scandal surrounding the missile dropped in Gori District in Georgia continues to develop. Experts from the Georgian Defense Ministry identified it as an antiradar guided missile of Russian manufacture. Georgia does not have missiles of that type in its arsenal. Georgia demanded that an extraordinary session of the UN Security Council be called to discuss the incident. At the same time, the Russian Foreign Ministry denied all accusations made against the Russian Air Force and called the incident a “new provocation” that threatens to complicate the situation in the region. Kommersant has attempted to find out what the experts were able to determine from the wreckage of the Kh-58 missile.
Georgian Defense Ministry experts made public their findings from a day’s study of the wreckage of the missile that fell near the Georgian village of Tsitelubani Monday evening. It was a Russian-made Kh-58 antiradar guided missile 4.8 m. in length, 0.38 m. in diameter weighing 640 kg. The missile, according to the Georgian experts, carried a warhead with 140 kg. of explosives.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry confirmed those details and added that the missile was dropped by an Su-24 aircraft that entered Georgian airspace from Russian territory. Georgian diplomats cite the country’s defense ministry as claiming that the country has neither aircraft nor missiles of the types mentioned.”

[Fast Times at Ridgemont High was] filmed, of course, around LA. ‘Ridgemont High’ is a combination of two valley schools: Canoga Park High School, 6850 Topanga Canyon Boulevard at Vanowen Street, and Van Nuys High School, 6535 Cedros Avenue, which has included Robert Redford and Jane Russell among its pupils, and, for a short while, Marilyn Monroe.

The exterior of ‘Ridgemont Mall’ is Santa Monica Place Mall, Broadway at Third Street, Santa Monica (used also in Terminator 2), but the interior is the old Sherman Oaks Galleria, 15303 Ventura Boulevard. The famous galleria, Valley Girl central, seen also in Commando, was damaged in the 1994 Northridge earthquake and subsequently demolished. A new, open-air galleria now stands on the site.

Why is shouting 'White Power' not the same as shouting "Black Power?'

One is to try to get some power which the group feels that they are without. And is to gain perceived equality with at least one other group (hint hint).

The other is to try to keep their power and to continue to dominate the country and other groups (hint hint).

Both are racist.

One more so than the other.

Also, notice that around one comment (comment 7) denounces this child.

In contrast, most of the remainder of the posts go on the defensive (a ploy to smear all European descendants as racist? come on.) at least as much as Muslims do after an islamofascist attack, looking outward and unwilling to face up to the fact that a fringe group (or individual, in this case) associated with them has done something bad, and there could be guilt by association.

A racist, European-descended child made a racist comment.
That's that. Don't try to argue otherwise.
There isn't much more to type.

Because there is one racist European-descendant doesn't translate into all people who fit that category being racist; there isn't a need to look the other way lest your 'group' is made to seem bad.

Look at history.

The originator country of Spanish was a major power, which is why Spanish now the third most used language after English.

And being impressive is not very relevant. There is a lot of trade and business to be done in Latin America, and Spanish could help with that.

Since when was culture tied indivisibly with ‘race?’

Using the term 'kristalnacht' to support your point on a thread about a European-descended racist is not such a great idea.

(Just an opinion.....)

And support your point that immigrants should be pressured to take up English.

You make the situation seem as if the immigrants are killing off those of European descent.

Has the notion occurred to you that 'your descendants' might also have ancestries from developing countries? Immigrants will marry into the native population, just as the Irish and Germans did.

Be glad it isn't Greek. Spanish at least uses more or less the same alphabet.

There's a certain irony here. "alphabet" = "alpha-beta", like "ABCs".

Acme, anathema, analysis, antithesis, asbestos, automaton, aphasia, bathos, genesis, diagnosis, dogma, drama, zone, ethos, echo, idea, cinema, climax, cosmos, crisis, colon, miasma, nectar, nemesis, orchestra, pathos, stigma, hubris, hypothesis, chaos, character, psyche ...

All transliterated from Greek.

Actually disagree with you on that point. Oftentimes (opinion), ballot measures use such convoluted terminology that following what exactly they are getting at is difficult sometimes for this native Anglophone.

For ballot measures (not for things such as the presidency, senators, congressmen, etc.) would permit letting naturalized citizens use their native languages to vote; the translations should be very accurate, though, and vetted by both sides.

One things for sure, no one is going to stick up for the rights of whites except whites. Whites shouldn’t be chanting “white power” but being white is starting to turn into a joke. Our numbers are declining, along with social and political influence but we are still blamed for every ill that has ever befallen humanity.
