Then I suppose drinking a beer or two, now and then not a no-no either?

Good grief, man. Don't you have anything better to do than come up with weak attacks on Mitt?

For those who are interested, here's the relevant LDS scripture on the subject. The revelation is called the "Word of Wisdom".

Articles on the subject:

The Message: A Plague on the World (on illicit drug use)

“Ye Are the Temple of God”

The Sanctity of the Body

The Word of Wisdom, in its text and through further instruction from the Prophet, declares:

  1. No alcohol
  2. No tobacco
  3. No coffee or tea
  4. Moderate amounts of meat
  5. No illegal drugs or misuse of prescription drugs
  6. It encourages the use of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, etc.

alcoholic beverages strictly prohibited

LOL! Ever go to a college football game at Cougar Stadium in Provo? Apparently not, because when crusty old coach Lavell Edwards was there, not only did you witness BYU deliberately running up scores on opponents (I suppose to show gentiles how Joseph Smith believers could throughly humiliate their guests) but you could also witness a whole lot of libations being surreptitiously passed around stadium seats and fans acting like jerks to any team visitors who dared to challenge Mormons on the gridiron!
