WASHINGTON — Idahoans are beginning to coalesce around Lt. Gov. as the consensus candidate to replace Sen. FOX News has learned, and the Idaho Statesman is reporting that Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter has made Risch his choice.
Craig, a Republican, pleaded guilty earlier this month to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct after being arrested in a men's restroom at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. On Tuesday, Craig denied he did anything wrong but is facing a rapidly strengthening move to force him out of office.

A mediocre lawyer , becomes mediocre prosecutor . Check the career track of any of these police state people. Appointed this , appointed for that vacancy , can’t run on his own . He will lose the seat due to his weakness . Where do the crummy law students go ? Prosecuting Attorneys everyone . Ask any good lawyer . Could Rudy have made it to the top in private practice ? Political advancement by being an opportunistic sycophant . Butch knows this guy is weak and I do not believe he will do this to the State of Idaho nor to the GOP .
