When put in a situation where you’re fighting fiercely just to stay alive, there should be a clear understanding that our troops will be required to make split second decisions, and that their actions in the heat of battle will be, barring clear and overwhelming evidence to the contrary, understood to be an acceptable act of self preservation.

We can not put limitations on our troops that prevent them from hesitating. We’ve asked them to put themselves in harms way. We should give them the right to do whatever they have to to stay alive and do their job.

Lone Survivor...that’s why the seal team along with other troops were killed...the seals elected not to kill the tribesmen that saw them...they elected to be killed over having NCIS prosecute them...for killing civilians...total BULLSH*T
