The BIG difference between the two incidents you speak of is that in Port Angeles, there is NO WAY to escape other than to enter the USA past the guards. 20 miles of water is a rather effective deterrent.

My thought also. What can be done to remove the likes of Johnny Sutton? I have yet to even find anything written about his personal life - which might give a clue to his outrageous conduct.

Capital offense! Paging Johnny Sutton...arrest this criminal agent! By order of the Mexican Foreign Ministry.

The border patrol agents are not supported by the American government.

Brother Canadians not to worry, I have Jim Carey on the line here for a new movie (Rhode Island highway Patrol).

We have received a lot of resources, he said. Personnel, technology, infrastructure. And we are going to be receiving more. And that's why y'all caught the guy in the SUV, right?

A clear violation of policy. Border agents must allow illegal entrants to hit them with their vehicles at least 3 times before shooting.

Nice area. I’ve vacationed up there for many years.
I commend the agent for taking action. I wonder if there are cameras at the border station? There should be!

Given the track record of this administration putting agents in jail I would say one round may be one to many. This officer at least reported that he fired his weapon immediately. But there is no indication that he preserved the crime scene".

If the victim is a Somali “refugee” that Agent is going to get life.
Unless he’s extradited to Canada to face war crimes prosecution, then he'll do 10 years.
