The numbers are inflated & include combatants. An even worse manipulation of the statistics is that a large portion of the civilian deaths were deliberately caused by the enemy — yet they’re all lumped in together, and blamed on the U.S.

This type of reporting is killing people. The terrorists know that the media just counts the dead -- they can kill civilians, and the media makes the U.S. look bad for it. In addition, civilians don't usually shoot back. Is it any wonder that they (terrorists) continue to target civilians.
