I think the odds of Hillary beating Thompson are about as good as those of the UN suddenly deciding to unconditionally support the US in the War on Terror ;) We’ve seen what happens when the conservative base turns out. I agree. Plus the fact that many Dems (including some of my family members) are not pleased with their candidates, and now are talking about Fred Thompson. :)
