provide a focal point for a much needed conservative shift in the Republican party in my opinion.
But is he truly conservative? I'm not trying to cause a flame war - I really want to know some facts about him. I've seen his voting record and it's a mixed bag. I don't believe anyone's campaign rhetoric. So I don't have a lot to go on with him. Any info anyone has so I can make a decision would be helpful...

Numbers USA says that Fred has one of the better records on illegal immigration of the GOP front runners.
