Ex-Gay Ministry Harassed by Homosexual Activists at Fair

Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) got an earful of "tolerance" at the Arlington County Fair in Virginia last week. They were faced with a barrage of verbal abuse, and one man was reportedly assaulted by a gay activist.

“They accused this young man of hiding his feelings," PFOX Executive Director Regina Griggs explained. "They walked by him and hit him in the back — attacked him.”

PFOX set up a display to offer hope to people dealing with unwanted same-sex attractions, but two gay activists objected to the message of hope.

“They told us that we had no right to be there. That we were nothing but a group of religious bigots," Griggs told Family News in Focus. “And that the right to free speech doesn’t apply to former homosexuals.”

Officers kicked the gay activists out of the fair and encouraged the PFOX volunteer to press charges, but he chose not to.

Yep, he's correct. I found it right here:

Bill of Rights

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, unless you are a former homosexual.

This is a predictable reaction on the part of people who need to maintain a facade of falsehood to sustain their own pathology.

The whole edifice of "gay" culture is based on nothing more than the homosexual's assertion that "I was born this way and I can't help it so I'll just accept myself the way I am and enjoy it." Recovered homosexuals give the lie to the entire 'gay' ideology.

The police could have filed a hate crime but evidently it doesn’t work the other way.

In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. (2Ti 3:12)

You have heard it said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy'. But I (Christ Jesus) tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. (Mt 5:43-45)

Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation. (Luke 11:4)

The easy choice would have been to file charges and salvage our human pride. The easy choice would have been to curse the gay activists, because they threw curses first. The easy choice would have been not to go there in the first place, because who needs to care about 'those' people anyway?

Before I became a follower of Jesus Christ, I used to believe that Christians were taking the 'easy way out'. I used to think that they were weak because they were 'afraid' to rebel. I used to feel they lacked love because they kept telling me what I 'should' do.

I was wrong. God was right.

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

There is a difference between loving our enemies and condoning their sin. We can love our enemies as we would want them to know Christ as their Saviour as other Christians do, but we also condemn the sins that they believe they are justified in living in. For example, we should love a murderer, not because he murdered but because Christ demands that of us for He wants all to be saved. But we also can sit on a jury and condemm that person to prison or death for his sin.

Absolutely... and it is not friendship or love to tell someone that their sin is ‘ok’.

I would hope my friends love me enough to tell me when I do something wrong, especially when I am in denial of it. I pray I have God’s strength to hear and act upon their correction when I go astray.

Apparently, the police are having trouble even remembering that the event occurred.

Disgusting. Such hatred and bigotry. How they must hate “straight people.”

Unbelievable! Downright criminal on the part of law enforcement.
