And Plutarch has been on almost every one of those threads, thinking by denigrating Fred somehow it will elevate Mitt.

     (děn'ĭ-grāt') Pronunciation Key
tr.v.   Denigrate

  1. To attack the character or reputation of; speak ill of; defame.
  2. To disparage; belittle: The critics have denigrated our efforts.

I have pointed out that Fred's accomplishments are not particularly compelling, and have chided him for ducking the September 5th debate. Is that denigration? Check out my posts , and cite where I have attacked Fred's character or otherwise defamed him.

This is all mild stuff compared to the calumny Fred fans heap on Romney.

I live in MA, and was thrilled when Mitt won the gov.’s race. He battled entrenched democrats, so nothing came easy, (but did nothing to stop gay marriage, nothing to halt or slow the abortion machine, and left us with his medical plan...enforced health care. Buy a plan or the state will confiscate any tax refunds and fine you.) Like his father before him, he’s a liberal disguised as a conservative.

Even his statement the other day about what he’d do if we were nuked should give one pause. (I paraphrase), ...something to the effect that if we were hit with a nuclear bomb, and he were President, his reaction would be swift and unmistakable. Well, what? Sanctions? More sanctions? Harsh words? What he says sounds great until you analyze it, then you realize there’s no meat in the burger.
