What a low blow. You must be proud of yourself.

Inconvenient realities don’t constitute low blows.

What a low blow. You must be proud of yourself.

Over the years, I have come to admire your posts, and your activism more than almost anyone on this board. So it is with a heavy heart that I ask what is so low about not wanting to support a cancer patient?

I understand that it was written in a snarky tone, but the underlining theme should be discussed. Even though Fred is in remission now, his doctors have said that his cancer will come back. It can be controlled with treatment, but that treatment is not a quick fix. Personal experience tells me that the treatment may involve a temporary killing of the immune system that could take a President Fred, or worse yet a Nominee Fred out of the picture for up to 6 months.

Don't we have a right to worry about that, and a responsibility to weigh that into our decision making?

You know better than most how the MSM operates. Do you honestly think that Newsweek will carry on with playing down his cancer (instead emphasizing his health) if and when he becomes our nominee.
