Kucinich is a useless communist, a charter member of the socialist caucus, and a certified moonbat. But he was not the villain in Cleveland's 1978 default. As mayor he resisted strong-arm tactics by powerful and arrogant bankers, at Cleveland Trust, who were real rat-bastards and would have done more harm to Cleveland than he did. He was subject to a recall election but defeated the effort to remove him. He did a lot of incompetent stuff, and the city recovered after he left office, but the sh*theads at Cleveland Trust basically had to get their hats and leave town. The bank changed its name to cover up its dirty history.

People remember, and that's why he gets elected easily going on thirty years later.

There was one from a Syrian news agency on an FR thread yesterday. It showed Assad meeting with "Senator" Kucinich. Both were sitting in huge armchairs 10 ft. apart. The chairs were particularly low, allowing the "senator's" feet to touch the floor.
