This article is a few months old, but Robert Spencer, from Jihad Watch, just talked about it yesterday.

Speaking at the State Department in 1999, Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, a Sufi sheik and leader of the Islamic Supreme Council of America, sounded an alarm about Muslim houses of worship in the United States.
"The most dangerous thing that is going on now in these mosques . . . is the extremists ideology," he said. "Because they are very active, they took over the mosques; . . . they took over more than 80 percent of the mosques that have been established in the US." He warned ominously that "a danger might suddenly come that you are not looking for . . . we dont know where it is going to hit."
At the time, Kabbanis charges may have seemed little more than inside Muslim baseball. After Sept. 11, it became clear that mosques dominated by radical clerics were a potentially lethal threat. Many such mosques are funded by Saudi Arabia, which spends heavily to propagate Wahhabism, a fanatic and aggressive strain of Islam. The Saudi government, reported the 9/11 Commission, "uses zakat" -- Islamic charity -- "and government funds to spread Wahhabi beliefs throughout the world, including in mosques and schools. . . . Some Wahhabi-funded organizations have been exploited by extremists to further their goal of violent jihad against non-Muslims." Its findings were reinforced by Freedom House, which in 2005 documented the penetration of US mosques by Saudi-supplied Wahhabi hate literature.

Awake here in ‘Bama..
All brought to us by Mumbles Menino, our esteemed Mayor and much to the chagrin of the Jewish communities of Newton and Brookline.
As far as I know there is no City oversight going on for this project in terms of ... Is this a weapons depot? It sure looks like an armory.
Neighbor, I've been trying to do it for years & years...

If a Mullah is teaching radical Islam, he should be deported to the Middle-Eastern nation of his choice. And that’s if he is a citizen or not. Citizens sould not be teaching radical Islam here. Do so is sedition IMO.
Just load em up and fly em out.
“”The most dangerous thing that is going on now in these mosques . . . is the extremists ideology,””
That ideology has a name. Islam.
President Bush is allowing America to be in harms way deliberately and purposefully! The blood now on his hands is nothing compared to the blood that he will be responsible for! He should fear for his mortal soul.
“Radical Islam” is like saying “Hot Fire.”
Gov. Perry (TX) helped dedicate a new mosque in Plano, TX last year. Resistance is futile.
Well, this was going to happen when the Saudis who are Wahhbi do the funding, this should not come as a suprise.
The *reason* that radicals have taken over so many mosques is that the radicals, in particular the Wahabbi sect, is the biggest sponsor of seminaries in the Muslim world.
The end result would be much as if the only Catholic Priests the US could get were all strong anti-Protestants and anti-English from seminaries in southern Ireland during its troubles. The vast majority of American Catholics wouldn’t be particularly interested in ranting and raving against Protestants, nor thrilled with calls to attack England(*).
(*) During the Vietnam War, Teddy Kennedy called on the US military to be pulled out of Vietnam and sent to Ireland to attack the British Army.

Who’ll be watchin’ your back??
Any friend of the Saudis is a traitor.
The ones who ARE awake can’t get through to those who are supposedly “in charge”. We are told to “be aware, report strange happenings, watch.” Then we’re told with every incident, it is “not believed to be terror-related.” Every damn time. Withing 15 minutes of some breaking news, we’re “comforted” by the fact that Chertoff’s gut isn’t feeling doom. We can never claim that we weren’t warned.
A Sufi is he?
