This article is a few months old, but Robert Spencer, from Jihad Watch, just talked about it yesterday.
By Jeff Jacoby BOSTON GLOBE January 10, 2007
Speaking at the State Department in 1999, Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, a Sufi sheik and leader of the Islamic Supreme Council of America, sounded an alarm about Muslim houses of worship in the United States.
"The most dangerous thing that is going on now in these mosques . . . is the extremists ideology," he said. "Because they are very active, they took over the mosques; . . . they took over more than 80 percent of the mosques that have been established in the US." He warned ominously that "a danger might suddenly come that you are not looking for . . . we dont know where it is going to hit."
At the time, Kabbanis charges may have seemed little more than inside Muslim baseball. After Sept. 11, it became clear that mosques dominated by radical clerics were a potentially lethal threat. Many such mosques are funded by Saudi Arabia, which spends heavily to propagate Wahhabism, a fanatic and aggressive strain of Islam. The Saudi government, reported the 9/11 Commission, "uses zakat" -- Islamic charity -- "and government funds to spread Wahhabi beliefs throughout the world, including in mosques and schools. . . . Some Wahhabi-funded organizations have been exploited by extremists to further their goal of violent jihad against non-Muslims." Its findings were reinforced by Freedom House, which in 2005 documented the penetration of US mosques by Saudi-supplied Wahhabi hate literature.

Welcome to FR Smokey. Cold Fire applies to BDM. Good Call.
The Muslims would probably celebrate a Hillary victory, due to her position on the war.
“Of course Americans should vote Democrat,” Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity, told WND.
Um...this article did not mention the President or his policies. Did you actually read the piece?
Y’all stop posting stuff that BORS us.
You too. C’mon. ‘Say it, don’t write it’.
>Um, this article did not mention the President or his policies. Dis you actually read the piece?<
Of course. It didn’t have to mention him. IMO, his open border policy and globalist goals have brought this upon the nation.
P.S.
The last time I looked, we were at war with the jihadists. During wartime, our ports should be secured and our borders closed. Neither has occurred during this war. Instead Islam is being bowed to while Christianity is banned. Why, why and why?
??? Not sure I follow you...
I don’t think that approach makes us like them. I think that approach is a necessary evil due to the fact that nothing short of that approach will move them. Violence, threats and intimidation are the only thing they really respond to when its the infidel that is doing the talking. They are virtually the only group of people in the US that I would even consider using this approach with.
This is a new, and hopefully passing situation for FR.
There are probably ACLU type folks who could easily designate such sentiment as home-grown terrorism.
Maybe the mods can clarify what the line is. ?
I agree that we need to close our borders, now, and not any later. It is deadly to leave them open.
I take issue with your statement that President Bush has blood on his hands. It is my honest belief that he takes the war on terrorism seriously. He has not wavered on his stance in Iraq and I stand firmly behind him.
Thanks for your additional comments. Let’s just agree to see this differently. As I see it, we cannot move people at the front of a gun. I do think we can allow them to make a choice based on the incentive I mentioned earlier. IMO that’s more humane. It would be accepted by the international community. The US would be viewed as a periah state if you went your route IMO.
On a thread here yesterday, there was a list of 48 Americans who have been raped and/or murdered by illegal aliens, who have come unhindered across our Southern border, because the President has had ‘the slows’ on building the double border fence he signed into law in October. So directly or indirectly, the President is responsible.
The Comprehensive Immigration Policy (Shamnesty) that we just worked so hard to defeat was introduced and endorsed by the President. He is now pushing L.O.S.T. where we will lose any sovereignty we now enjoy on the seas, if passed. So we have our work cut out again for us.
I do agree that we should stay in Iraq until our mission there is complete. I totally support our troops. They have been doing an amazing job there. Things are much better in Iraq than they were, thanks to the dedication, hard work and sacrifices of our brave troops.
But with Mosques in America growing daily, the threat here is also growing, according to this article.
That will sure reduce the odds of hitting the wrong Mosque - when the time comes....
Bush.
Do you have this account? Not hard to believe....just hard to swallow.
The American Mosque is trully the modern day Trojan Horse. Send a copy of the article to your elected...fax it.
Its true that I was a bit hot when I wrote that, but frankly, something will eventually have to be done. I don’t see our gov’t doing anything about it, now or ever. People might get their feelings hurt. Frankly, I’m just sick of the endless bowing we do to these social retards.
Poltically correct Americans will just have to lose an American city to get their attention. How many more people have to die before we get out heads out of the sand and do something about this threat?
