Social services' recommendation that the baby should be taken from Fran Lyon, a 22-year-old charity worker who has five A-levels and a degree in neuroscience, was based in part on a letter from a paediatrician she has never met.

This story makes me angry. This is the type of thing I could see under HillaryCare or any other Democrat health care system.

Welcome to the Peoples Republic of Britain.

This is exactly the sort of Soviet-minded abuse one could have expected in the old U.S.S.R.

God Save the Queen my arse, the Queen needs to start reading the papers and paying attention to what is being done to her subjects, instead of pontificating upon the latest garden club and how tasty the tea is.

It’s the next step down the slope of hate crime when you can be punished for something you haven’t done and haven’t even thought of. You MIGHT think of it.

It would be sad if it wasn’t for the fact it’s for the children. /s

I read the story and there is a lack of detail. There are no accounts of what she does that make ths action necessary.

I could see an occasion when it might be apparent to all that a disaster with a newborn was in the works unless action was taken. But this account doesn’t make any case for that.

Does this happen to Muslim parents in the UK?

Beyond that its not surpising.

The humanistic instinct has always been towards “perfecting” society.

Its like they are trying to create a “master race.”

And this world has had the gall to denounce Nazis and then turn around and start acting like them.

The eugenics movement with forced sterilizations and children taken from parents was coming into force a century or so ago.

The modern day variation on that theme seems to be this “anti-obesity” crusade for “wellness” that is sweeping government nowadays.

There’s another reason to take children from parents.

They’re “obese.”

The British monarch hasn't had any real power since the early days of Queen Victoria.

About all she could do is speak out in public off script (her speeches are effectively written for her by the party in power), but there would be no effect other than to stir up the politicians.

There are no accounts of what she does that make ths action necessary.

It is not what she has done, it is what was done to her in the past.

Miss Lyon came under scrutiny because she had a mental health problem when she was 16 after being physically and emotionally abused by her father and raped by a stranger.

Then stir them up she should.

Frankly, if someone threatened to take away my progeny, I’d move to another country that did not have extradition agreements in place. I guess the land of the pre-cognitive crime unit is alive and well in the UK.
