I’ll have to say that if you’re looking for rocket-science-quality intellect, the Miss Teen USA contestants would not be my first choice.
I don’t know about the teen pageant, but the regular Miss USA hasn’t been any good since Bob Barker left as host. ;-)
One of my pet peeves about those shows is they obviously try to be PC by not referring to the individual contestants as “Miss” anymore. They are called only by their state name, which sounds a little ridiculous and impersonal, if you ask me.
