Calm down, I believe the gist of the article was that Starbucks has decided the cheapest way of supplying coffee to it’s expanding Chinese stores was to grow more of the stuff in China (Chinese tariffs on non-Chinese coffee).

Now if that stuff has juicy melamine or sweet lead in it, well, domestic Chinese customers, who cares about them?

Have you heard about the chickens grown in America - processed in China - and then sold in America?

That's just insane.

You could run an ad campaign here in the US centered on that phrase and a significant portion of the ‘uneducated’ masses would eat it up.
